The Manifest Mind: Unlocking the Body-Mind Through Rhythmic Movement and Intuitive Touch

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 12-14, 9:30am-6pm

21 CE hours, $375.00

Instructor: Nancy Toner Weinberger

There is one place, and one place only, that we experience our physical existence: our body. Every experience we have is filtered through our senses which dance upon the landscape of our body. Every thought, every belief, is based upon what we have experienced in that sacred space. As bodyworkers, touch and movement are the two tools we have to reach the body, and deeper, the mind, where we can help to create a milieu for healing to occur. Touch that reaches the mind can generate lasting changes in health and well-being. Discover the light, free, deeply effective work of Dr. Milton Trager taught by a seasoned professional.

(Level 1) Principles & Technique
Topics covered: Process of inquiry and acceptance; Gravity, momentum, acceleration; Concepts of physical force, and consequent biology; Reaching the unconscious mind through awakening proprioception; Weighing, receiving weight, compression, tossing & lightness, fluid weights (shimmers), rocking; Full basic protocol to address front or back of the body.
